Abhiyude Kadha Anuvinteyum movie review: Thriller in this mystery is itself a delusion!

Makers of ‘Abhiyude Kadha Anuvinteyum’ sat with a task to confuse the audience with their storytelling though this should not be the point. Absolutely no human being in the world would like to be confused because the trick is to keep them intrigued in the story with all the webs that are being created. Noir films should be shot in a very sophisticated manner because sometimes there are no dialogues in the scenes hence the maker has to evoke the energy through sound and lighting. Director gloriously failed in doing so because of lack of technical superiority.

It looks like a student film which would not more than 50% grades in first year of college and feature films should be shot in a better way. Camera work is out of place with absolutely no grammar to it and in a sequence it hardly makes sense. Lighting has little to no contribution in the narrative and even the surreal shots look like they have been designed by a soap opera maker. Color tone of the film is monotonous but enough to keep the mood on for a viewer who might already be highly disinterested due to lack of story.

Makers have tried to thrill the audience at many places by providing twists but they forgot that people are not watching a film for the first time. Storytelling tradition is thousands of years old and so many mysteries have been unwrapped hence if anyone has to come up with something in that genre then they better twist the tale really hard. Dialogues are quite poetic of the film and many one liners have been spoken which would aloud some good feeling while watching it. Overall one may go and experience it sometime but since there are better options available in cinemas, let this one go.
