Pant could not become the youngest batsman to score a century in the IPL but during this innings against Hyderabad, he becomes the youngest batsman to complete 1000 runs in IPL. Pant has completed this record in 20 years and 218 days. Previously this record was captured by Sanju Samson. Sanju had completed 1 thousand runs in IPL in 21 years and 183 days. In this case, Virat Kohli is on the third spot, Virat has done this in 22 years and 175 days.
First batsman to score more than 500 runs in IPL 11
