Kolkata Police starts a case of Domestic Violence against Mohammed Shami under several sections of the Indian Penal Code(IPC) including 498A, which amounts to torture to a woman by her husband or his relatives. 27-years-old Indian Pacer Mohammed Shami, who has been accused by his wife Hasin Jahan of having extra-marital affairs, torture, and even match-fixing, has now troubled in an extra problem. Joint Commissioner of Kolkata Police Praveen Tripathi said that the case had been recorded at Kolkata’s Jadhavpur Police Station on the base of a written complaint by the cricketer’s wife Hasin Jahan on Thursday. Police have been charged under the Section 307 – attempt to murder, Section 323 – punishment for voluntarily causing hurt, Section 376 – rape, Section 506 – criminal intimidation. If the allegations proved correct, then the career of Mohammed Shami will be ended, and an Investigation will be implemented against him and his four family members.
Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan also claimed that the Indian pacer took money from a Pakistani woman by the name of Alishba under the control of England-based businessman Mohammed Bhai. During an Interview, she also said,“If Mohammed Shami can cheat me then he can cheat the country as well. Shami took money from a Pakistani girl named Alisbah in Dubai, and I have proof.
Due to these allegations, BCCI also put Shami’s annual contract on hold. Meanwhile, he might be out from the team due to this allegations and FIR. On the other side, Hasin Jahan’s lawyer Zakir Hussain said,” she is still hoping Shami would change before taking any legal action. While Shami is saying that his wife has lost her mental balance and she is planning something evil. He also concluded that he is ready to take some legal action against his wife, If I have tortured him then she needs to prove it, I don’t know why she is doing this? She must have thought about it before taking this decision.
