Holi is a festival of joy and celebration and this day everyone play with colors and water. This festival is linked to colors, sticks and even flowers. Different types of holi are also there which has its own significance. This festival is related to the win of good over the evil. Holi is a festival of colors and on this day people usually forgets all the evil things one has done and usually forgives the person. Widow are usually restricted from celebrating any festival. Widow doesn’t hold any place in Indian community but widow hold place in Vrindavan and a special day is fixed for the celebration of widow holi.

Every year this festival brings a lot of joy in one’s life. Holi marks the win of good things. People in India will experience the festival with different colors. Each color has its own different special meaning. Widow Holi is a must event for the celebration. It started two years back. All the widows are gathered and they play holi. They smear one another with holi colors and flowers. This type of holi is celebrated in the Gopinath Temple, Vrindavan around noon.

On February 27, 2018 India will witness widow holi. Life of widow is very difficult. They were often banished form their homes and were forced to live in ashrams of Varanasi and Vrindavan. They wore white clothes and never played with colors. Vrindavan decided to break this convention and allowed to play with colors. Holi is a festival that is played with friends, family and relatives. One can easily celebrate this holi in Vrindavan. Holi is played in groups. People from all over the country comes and visit this place and make enjoyments.
