From eight o’clock in the morning, the Krishna Menon Marg, Sunheri Bagh Road, Tughlaq Road, Akbar Road, Tees January Road, Man Singh Road, Bhagwan Das Road, Shahjahan Road and Sikandra Road will remain closed for the common people’s traffic. The traffic police said that DDU route, IP route, BSG route (Tilak bridge to Delhi gate), JLN route (Rajghat to Delhi gate) will also be closed.

Actually, the last rites of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be held at the National Memorial at 4 pm on Friday. The memorial site is situated between the Jawaharlal Nehru monument ‘Shanti Van’ and ‘Vijay Ghat’ of Lal Bahadur Shastri. Atal ji’s funeral will be at a high place on the memory site, surrounded by greenery from all four sides.

The body of Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been placed on his official residence 6, Krishna Menon Marg. People will be able to pay homage to their house from Friday 7:30 to 8:30 in the morning on Friday. After this, his body will be taken to BJP headquarters at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg at 9 in the morning. After this, his last visit will start at the BJP headquarters at 1 pm and the funeral will be done at four o’clock in the evening.

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee died after a prolonged illness at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Thursday evening. He was 93 years old. Giving information about the demise of former Prime Minister, Prof. AIIMS President of Media and Protocol Division Aarti Vij gave this information In a release, he said that with deep grief, we are reporting the death of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. According to AIIMS, the former prime minister passed away at five o’clock in the evening.
