India is celebrating Armed force week from 1st December to 7th December to pay honour to our brave Armed forces. Every year on 7th December, India marks Armed Forces Flag Day. This day is dedicated to India Armed Forces personnel. It is the day in India dedicated towards the collection of funds from people of India for the welfare of Armed forces. Since 1949, this day become a tradition of paying honour to our brave Soldiers, Air Force Personnel and Sailors of India. India is celebrating Armed force week from 1st December to 7th December.

Today, Twitterati along with various cabinet ministers and leaders has overflowed on Twitter with their warm wishes, salute and honour for our Bravehearts who have lost their lives in the fight for India also to our soldier of the Armed forces who always give their best to keep India secure and peaceful. India Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman asked everyone to Join Armed forced week celebration by wearing Armed Forces flag between 1-7 Dec to pay respects to the brave sons & daughters of our nation. And added further that people can also contribute towards the welfare of war-widows, children of martyrs & ex-servicemen by visiting http://ksb.gov.in.

The Armed flag day is the day which marks the collection of funds through the distribution of flags. This week is the time for Indians to conveying gratitude and appreciation to the Armed forces personnel.
