Amit Shah-Nitish kumar meeting in Bihar; Dinner will decide Seat sharing info

Amit Shah, national president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has reached Patna on his one day tour. The workers at the airport greeted him with a grand welcome. At breakfast in the state guest meeting, he met with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Bihar BJP Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi and Bihar BJP President Nityanand Rai were present during the meeting. After the meeting, CM Nitish Kumar moved for his residence from the state guesthouse. Amit Shah reached the gate to leave him. While leaving the guesthouse, both the leaders were very happy. It is being speculated that during this meeting, there will be the talk of seat-sharing between the two leaders, considering the Lok Sabha elections. Now the seat sharing issue might be cleared by today evening when Amit Shah joins the Dinner with Nitish Kumar.

There is a possibility that after the return of BJP to power in Bihar, during this Bihar visit, not only will the seat-sharing of Nitish Kumar’s JDU be discussed, but the strategies of the Lok Sabha elections are also expected to be discussed. In this way, Shah’s visit not only sees the leaders of Bihar’s ruling party but the Opposition is also keeping an eye on the meeting of these leaders. This is Amit Shah’s first Bihar visit after the Bihar assembly elections in 2015. However, there has been a lot of change since then and today’s conditions. At that time, JDU was in a separate alliance from BJP, but now in the government with the BJP.

Picture of Lok Sabha in Bihar is like this. Out of the 40 Lok Sabha seats in 2014, the NDA were managed to secure 31 seats. In 31 seats, BJP got 22, LJP 6 and RLSP occupied 3 seats. At that time JDU was not with NDA and it won 2 out of 40 seats. It is a different matter that JDU leaders say that even after contesting different elections, the party had received nearly 17 percent of the votes. About the sharing of seats, the JDU says that his party is the largest in Bihar, therefore his role should be enlarged in the sharing of seats.
