Sridevi Death: MEA spokesperson, Raveesh Kumar says there is nothing suspicious in the actress’ demise

Ministery of External Affairs spokesperson, Raveesh Kumar said that the UAE government had  the paperwork to the Indian government on basis of which legendary Actress’ Sridevi’s mortal remains were brought back to India. He said that if there had been anything suspicious in the death of the actress, they probably would’ve found by now. This again refutes the claim of many people in media and in general that there was foul play involved in the death of the actress. According to her husband, Boney Kapoor, Sridevi had died in the bath tub, and hadn’t even gotten the chance to fight against the water as there were no drops on the floor. She had probably fainted and then drowned by accident.

Sridevi died on Feburary 24 2018 in the hotel in Dubai, and her body was subjected to Post Mortem because of the situation of her untimely death. Sridevi is considered the first and perhaps the only Pan India superstar who worked in five languages, and made an indelible impact on cinema. Even the Oscars this month gave her a tribute, which is great considering that she didn’t work in any foreign language movie.

Sridevi’s mortal remains were only recently swept in the river Ganges, while her daughter, Jhanvi Kapoor has gotten back to shoot her debut movie, Dhadak. In this awful time when the country is still not recovering from the shocking news, it is good that all the speculations about her death should be put to rest.
