Blockbuster director Rajkumar Hirani posted the latest picture of Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt as he worryingly rests on the shoulder of his father Sunil Dutt. Prolific actor Paresh Rawal will be playing the role of Sunil Dutt who was a very famous actor himself and later became a politician. This picture suggests Sanjay’s younger part of life where he was a serious drug addict and was taken to America in order to get world class treatment. Sanjay had nearly done all the drugs available before even turning 22 which became a massive reason of worry for his parents.
Manisha Koirala will be playing Nargis Dutt and her look will also be revealed very soon. Manisha might not have a really long role in the film because Nargis Dutt died before Sanjay’s first film ‘Rocky’ came out when he was about 23. After that it was his sisters and his father who took care of him till his own extended family came about. Paresh has never worked with Rajkumar Hirani before though the combination of two should be lethal. Years before Hirani could not make PK the way he wanted to because his earlier draft got cancelled as soon as Paresh’s ‘Oh My god’ released.
Hirani has given his classic bright emotional touch to every frame of ‘Sanju’ as it was visible in the teaser and pictures as well. Trailer of the film will be released on 30 May and till than Hirani will keep on posting character looks of other actors. Anushka Sharma who did PK with Hirani also has an extended cameo in the film where she would be playing one of his girlfriends and rumors are that the character will be based on Madhuri Dixit. Sanju was initially suppose to release on 30 March but now will come out on 29 June.
