Rajartha, directed by Anup Bhandari, and starring Nirup Bhandari, Puneeth Rajkumar, Avantika Shetty, among others is a romantic, comedy action movie that is going to please everyone with its light humor, fancy dialogues and melodrama. The movie is about a love triangle, and a hero, who has a different character than most might presume, and a heroine, who is charming and easily likable. The story takes place in and around a college, and the movie is filled with drama, romance, comedy, action and beautifully crafted song and dance sequences. Meaning, it is a full entertainment, that is not going to occupy your thoughts for a long time, but you’re never going to be bored while you’re watching it in the cinema.
All of it has to do with the cast, as Nirup and Puneeth are perfectly cast in the respective roles, and take the traits to create distinctive personalities. Avantika, takes on a stereotypical role of the girl in love, and makes it something more, because she is able to bounce off the two leads perfectly and shares ample chemistry with them.
Anup Bhandari is able to create an energized atmosphere in the story, and he directs with a sure hand, creating some beautiful images and scenes that just pop out of the screen. The is a must watch and should be viewed in the company of friends or family.
