Mahesh Babu took to micro blogging website and expressed his gratitude for the success of Bharat Ane Nenu as it has gotten the most overwhelming response of Babu’s career. Film opened to massive 55 crores worldwide making it Babu’s highest opening ever and the word of mouth is also pretty extraordinary. Babu’s stardom has been yearning for a success like this for years now as his last celebrated film came out in 2011 by the name of ‘Srimanthudu’. Srimanthudu was directed by Siva Koratala who is responsible for Bharat Ane Nenu as well.

Siva and Babu have caused quite a stir at the box office but they also manage to put across a very important message. Srimanthudu is about village adoption at the core of it which motivated many millionaires in Andhra Pradesh to go out there and adopt villages or rural families. Babu is portraying the role of a young chief minister in the film who is a man of people especially rural class whose voices are not being hard on the big table because they come from so down under that their frequency is highly unlikely to reach up to the top decision makers of the country.

Siva beautifully manages to blend commercial with credibility which is why his films are very real at the core of it but decorated by high octane heroism which would get whistles in the cinemas. Babu has danced on the songs for no reason and action sequences which definitely would not make sense in real life but suit his stardom in accordance to the fans demand. Spyder was a more gutsy and experimental film due to narrative and also storytelling but it ended up not working on the box office though Bharat Ane Nenu would do wonders because it falls right in the mold of a routine blockbuster like Rangasthalam.
