Amitabh Bachchan records a rap for ‘102 Not Out’

Amitabh Bachchan took to Instagram and posted a video of him sitting in a recording studio, looking at visuals and recording a rap song in his own voice for his upcoming film ‘102 Not Out’. Bachchan mentioned in his video that he was doing the recording at 3.30 am and still he was full of energy and enthusiasm. It is not the first time him singing in a film as many directors have exploited his wonderful baritone voice which basically commands attention from the viewer on screen and a listener as well in the form of music.

102 not out is his upcoming film where he is playing an old man of 102, who is father of Rishi Kapoor’s character who himself ages 76 in the film. Now, first time in the world a father is sending his own son to an old age home. Bachchan plays world’s most cheerful 102 year old man who is quite notorious in nature and even plays a saxophone like a pro. His mischief irritate his 76 year old son a whole lot but at the same time he is extremely caring and as old as he might be, he still cares about his son as any middle age or young father would.

Plot of the film is quite out there but the reason why he wants to send his son to an old age man is kept secretive from the trailer, perhaps only to be revealed in the film. Rishi and Bachchan will be coming together in a film after 30 years as they have been a very integral part of some classics in the 70’s like Amar Akbar Anthony and Naseeb. Rishi always played the younger brother to him as he is younger in age and here also he is playing the son while Bachchan plays the father, which is clearly very refreshing for the fans to see.
