JNUEE Result date and Merit list announced at jnu.ac.in

JNU result date and merit list have announced on the official website. Jawaharlal Nehru University held an entrance exam for admission to UG, PG, Doctoral courses from December 27, 2017 to December 30, 2017. JNU is likely to declare the result on February 21st, 2018. This exam was held in 53 cities in all over the country. After the results are declared, the university will call the qualified students for viva-voce. After the viva-voce, the merit list will be uploaded on the website of JNU. The score announced by the university will be B.A.(Hons), M.Sc, PhD, M.Phil, M-Tech whereas the result of B.A, M.C.A, M.A will be announced according to merit list.

Waiting list and the merit list of the exam will be displayed on the same day i.e after the viva-voce. Sometimes the occupied seat becomes vacant even after the first round of admission. The exam held was both in subjective as well as the objective pattern. The total duration of the exam was three hours.

Candidate can check the result by following the steps given below:

  • Visit the official website of JNU i.e. www.jnu.ac.in/
  • Candidates then have to click the tab named “admission” on the website.
  • Candidate can check their result either by registration number or by roll number.
  • Candidates then have to fill their details.
  • By clicking on view result, the JNUEE result will be displayed.

JNU determines JNUEE cut-off admissions in PG courses offered by the university. Two cut-offs will be displayed by the JNU. The mode of filling the entrance exam was both offline and online. The result of Class 12th affects the merit list. A portion of marks of 12th is added in this exam. The answer key was released after one week. Viva-voce of the qualified students will take place on March 20, 2018. The result of viva-voce will be displayed by March 25, 2018. The registration will commence on July 23rd, 2018. The merit list will be displayed category wise. The cut-off for the PG courses will be 40% marks and the cut off for the UG courses will be 30%. By February 21, 2018, the result will be displayed.
