IPL 2018:MS Dhoni’s confession after thrilling victory over Kolkata

In the fifth match of the Indian Premier League, Chennai Super Kings defeated Kolkata by 5 wickets on their home turf. Sam Billings scored 53 runs in 23 balls with the help of two fours and five sixes to bring Chennai closer to victory in high scoring games. In the last two overs, Dwayne Bravo and Ravindra Jadeja contributed together and made CSK winner. Shane Watson gave a brilliant start by making 42 runs in 19 balls, helping the team to pursue the target of 203 runs. Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, commented on the presentation after the match, Harsha Bhogale was taking his interview. When Harsha asked if Dhoni’s heart beat faster, he replied that he showed his feelings in the dressing room. Dhoni said, “Sometimes My heartbeat runs too sharp and that’s why we have a dressing room. I express myself in the dugout, not in the dressing room”.

If you express yourself very much on the field then the commentators get a lot to talk about. Everyone has their own emotions levels, but in the dugout, we believe in the batsman or the bowler at that time. Positive energy helps. “On returning to Chennai after two years, Dhoni said, “It feels good, come and win after two years. It was nice to see the way Sam batted. Yes, we scored a few runs and Kolkata certainly did well. The time for the bowlers on either side was not good, but I am sure the viewers would have enjoyed it. ”

KKR captain Dinesh Karthik admitted that it was disappointing not to defend the score of 202 runs. Karthik said, “CSK had strong support and we were hoping for it. Salute them. It’s disappointing to not be 202 defending, but Andre Russell did very well. Such things happen in T20 cricket. Now, CSK will play their next game against Rajasthan Royals on 14 April.
