Padmavati Controversies: BJP leader announces to reward of 10 cr for beheading Deepika Padukone and Bhansali

Suraj Pal Amu, the BJP chief media coordinator for Haryana, said he will reward Rs 10 crores, for beheading the actor Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Padmavati controversies are not going to stop however the release date is already postponed by the film-makers. Suraj also threatened actor Ranveer Singh, who plays Delhi Sultanate ruler Alauddin Khilji in the movie, and said as Ranveer is supporting Bhansali, “If you do not take your words back, we will break your legs.” UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, also said the film Padmavati will release in U.P if the film-makers remove the objectionable scenes from the movie. Rajput Karni Sena also held a press conference on Saturday and President of the organization, Lokendra Singh Kalvi said this matter is not only for the Rajputs, it’s a matter of women’s respect.

The Anguish amongst the Rajput community and orthodox society is increasing day by day with the release of Padmavati. The Rajput Karni Sena, which has started the protests against  Bhansali’s film in January this year, has threatened to burn down any theatre who so ever screens the film, and the head of its Rajasthan unit has also threatened the leading actress Deepika Padukone’s nose should be cut off.

Padmavati, starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor, has been in the midst of a controversy since from the matter starts. In January, the members of the Rajput Karni Sena assaulted Bhansali on the set of the movie in Jaipur and ask to remove some scenes from the movie, the shoot was then shifted to Maharashtra.
