Qarib Qarib Singlle, a comedy romance movie starring Irrfan Khan and Parvathy was released on 10 November, 2017, and managed to earn 1.75 crores at the Box Office. The numbers aren’t blockbuster lever, but then again, the movie is aimed for mature audiences and had very little promotion, so it is expected that it didn’t open with huge numbers. The movie, however, has gotten critical acclaim and could very well benefit from a strong word of mouth. Qarib Qarib Singlle is the romantic comedy, and a story about two strangers who fall in a relationship with each other after crossing paths many times.
The performances of the both actors, the writing and direction from Tanuja Chandra has been praised, with even more acclaim for Parvathy’s performance. Audience’ mostly came to watch the movie in evening and there were less crowds at the ticket counters for the movie.
But, that could change in coming weeks, because the movie has been gushed about by the people who have seen it, and that will help in making its reputation as something that people should see in Theaters. However, the movie was never going to do massive, blockbuster numbers, so even a decent Box Office will be considered great for its stars and the team behind it.
