Lucknow Central movie review: Farhan Akhtar’s prison break drama

Lucknow Central movie is the Bollywood thriller drama of the year that is directed by Ranjit Tiwari. It features Farhan Akhtar along with Diana Penty, Ronit Roy, Gippy Grewal, Deepak Dobriyal and Rajesh Sharma in the lead role. It has come up with a new concept that penetrates the politics of prison life. The script is smartly thoughtfully written by Ranjit Tiwari and Aseem Arora that explores the dynamics of freedom with a super chic musical twist that allows vivid characters to fly higher than prison dramas. In this movie, Diana Penty is playing an activist prison reformist role that happens to be glamorous.

The story of Lucknow Central movie set around four convicted men who try to escape from jail. It is a scarce story of prison life. It is a solid storytelling spree where a clever cat-and-mouse game played between the jailor and non-guilty prisoner who want to fix his liberty at any cost. To escape from jail prisoners tried various things including band performance.

The Cinematographer Tushar Kanti Ray takes the audiences to the corners and crevices of the human heart by depicting the feelings behind the prison walls. It is very flexible and narrative in the second half with effortlessly moves into the philosophical mode. It is a prison break drama to classic “Papillon”, intellectual politics and spiritual ramifications.
