Brindavanam, the tamil comedy which released in theaters last friday i.e. on the 26th of May has been well received among the tamil audiences. Brindavanam box office collection has reached 4.2 crores ever since its release, with the opening day figure close to 1.5 crores owing to a total occupancy of 55% approximately.
Film industry trade trackers like Ramesh Bala and Kaushik LM tweeted about the tamil film faring well at the box office. Ramesh Bala tweeted that the Arulnithi, Vivek and Tanya starrer feel good entertainer which is directed by Radha Mohan is doing well.

Infact, the positive word of mouth and good reviews have helped Brindavanam retain major screens in multiplexes since Monday which will further help with the weekday collections. The film is holding up well in the A,B,C centres .
The film has managed to live up to director Radha Mohan’s reputation for good quality entertainers with strong emotional underlayers. Brindavanam’s plot revolves around a deaf and mute guy played by Arulnithi and his love and admiration for Actor Vivek (seen playing himself) who he lands an opportunity to meet. The film then highlights the emotional bond that they come to share.
Brindavanam is being hailed for its genuinely clean and good comedy, which the tamil film goers hadn’t seen in a long time. And the positive word of mouth has added to the film’s prospects of becoming a profitable venture for its makers. The critics unanimously termed it a ‘feel good entertainer’ that prompted a lot of people to make Brindavanam their weekend watch.
