Under the direction of Advait Chauhan, the story of the film is the about the young girl, who is aspiring to become a singer but her stubborn father is absolutely against this idea. As shown in the poster, Zaira Wasim, in school uniform and school bag, which has a mike in her pocket, as reflected in the poster, is walking down the roads, which is surrounded by the trees which have music chords instead of leaves.
The film is aiming to come out on Diwali for release. But before that August 2nd, 2017 will be the official teaser launch. As shown in the first teaser, which was launched in December 2016, her father, who is against her singing careers, breaks down the strings of her guitar and soon she starts her youtube channel without her name, but the channel name ‘ Secret Superstar’. Years back, Aamir Khan came up with his aspiring film, Taare Zameen par, which had the story of a kid Ishaan, who was suffering from a disease dyslexia, and Aamir Khan became his true mentor and guided him. Similar to the concept, Secret Superstar, aims a girl who aspires to become a successful singer. It would be so interesting to watch Aamir Khan, playing some crucial role in the film.
