UPSC CDS II notification 2017 has been released today. So the candidates who want to apply for the UPSC CDS examination can now check the CDS II examination notification on the official website of the UPSC i.e., upsc.gov.in. As per the official notification, the UPSC will conduct the CDS II examination on 19th November at the various centres across India. All the students are advised to apply through the prescribed format before 8th September 8 till 6 pm.
The Union Public Service Commission conducts Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam top recruit eligible candidates for the 100 vacancies of Indian Army post of Indian Military Academy in Dehradun, 45 vacancies of Indian Navy posts, Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala, 32 for the Air Force Academy of Hyderabad, 225 SSC Course (NT) (For Men) for Officers’ Training Academy of Chennai and 12 SSC Women (Non-Technical) for Officers Training Academy. So the candidates can follow these steps to apply for the CDS II exam. Firstly, you have to visit the official website i.e., upsconline.gov.in. Then click on the link UPSC CDS 2017. Enter all the required details along with the payment and the choice of exam centre also upload your photo and signature.
Interested candidates must possess Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or equivalent to apply for the Indian Army CDS II examination. While for the Indian Naval Academy candidates must possess a degree in Engineering from a recognised university and for Air Force Academy candidates must possess a degree recognised university and Class 12th Physics and Mathematics. The candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 200 and the reserved category is exempted from paying the application fee.
