Sanjay Dutt is going to sing for his upcoming film Bhoomi. Dutt is going to record an aarti of Ganpati Bappa, which will be played in Bhoomi. Aarti is being recorded for a scene in Bhoomi, which also the  first shot of trailer. In that shot Dutt could be seen singing ‘jaidev jaidev’ in his house as his morning prayer. As the film is going to release 3 day before Ganesh utsav begins, this aarti could prove to be an advantageous action for the promotions. A film like Bhoomi in the current scenario of film industry market has a theater lifeline of about 2 weeks, considering film has content according to the trailer.

So the entire 2 weeks of Bhoomi lies with in the festival period of Ganesh Chaturthi and hence the aarti will be a hit. Sanjay Dutt’s fans are just waiting for his comeback and that has given the hype around this film a mammoth height then it possibly would have been. Dutt has sung songs in his previous films like Lage Raho Munna Bhai but those were not quintessential songs with Harketein and Murkiyan.

Dutt has a voice with heavy bass that could enhance the gravitas of the aarti that he is going to sing. Director Omung Kumar seems to be very confident about the aarti and the film. The release date of Aarti has not been confirmed as Dutt is yet to finish the recording. Bhoomi stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharad Kelkar and will release on 22 September, 2017.
