The Ford Freestyle cross-hatchback has been launched in India and will take on the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ignis along with other cross-hatchbacks like the Toyota Etios Cross, Fiat Avventura, Hyundai i20 Active, etc. The Ford Freestyle price in India starts at ₹ 5.09 lakh for the petrol version while the Ford Freestyle diesel price starts at ₹ 6.09 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi). The most expensive or fully loaded Ford Freestyle petrol is priced at Rs 6.94 lakh while the top of the line diesel is priced at ₹ 7.89 lakh. The Ford Freestyle is available in four colour variants for the petrol and diesel, and these are Ambiente, Trend, Titanium, and Titanium+.
During the launch, the company has introduced a chart of 1 lakh km scheduled service cost. The company claims that the service cost of petrol variants is 41 paise per kilometre and it is Rs 41,000 in 1 lakh kilometres. At the same time, the diesel variant per kilometre service cost is 51 paise. Ford says that there is a big shift towards utility vehicles. According to the company, utility vehicles in India is one of the fastest growing car segments. In addition to Exeter, Ford also updated the interior of the Freestyle CUV. With Sienna seat cover it will be available in new colours. Ford’s car has a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine. The company claims that the petrol variant carries 19 kilometres of mileage in one litre.

In the interior, the Radish Brown theme has been kept, which makes the cabin much better. This car is made in the Sanand Plant of Gujarat. This car has a 6.5-inch touchscreen, which allows the driving person to control the screen settings. Ford’s standard safety has also been maintained in this Freestyle model. There are six airbags in this car. Its ground clearance is quite high. The car has features like TCS, ABS with EBD. Ford’s new car with tough features will clash with its competitors.
