Terror attacks strike London Bridge

Terror attacks strike London Bridge, a nearby cafe in late Saturday night. Metropolitan police of London were dealing with these terrorist attack which took place in at least two locations in late Saturday night after a van mowed down pedestrians on London Bridge and Knife attacks were reported at two nearby restaurants.

The London ambulance service taken at least 20 people to hospitals and witnesses reported that the Incidents unfolded in the vicinity of a major transport hub and the restaurants and bars. The London Ambulance Service said at least 20 people were taken to six hospitals.

According to the Metropolitan police service, the Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley confirmed “At this stage, we believe that six people have died in addition to the three attackers shot dead by police.” and said, “there will be additional police and officers deployed across the Capital”.

Just south of the bridge, a man entered in two restaurants with a knife at nearby Borough Market, just south of the bridge, and stabbed two people. Borough Market where the stabbing incident took place is a popular market with restaurants, produce stalls and gourmet food.

It was the third terrorist attack to hit the United Kingdom this year before a general election and two weeks after the Arina Grande concert attack in which 22 people were killed and after a Westminster Bridge attack in March where a man drove a car into pedestrians on Bridge.

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan said that it was a cowardly terrorist attack on Londoners enjoying a Saturday night out.

Metropolitan police service said both incidents were being treated as terrorism. Police said that tey reported the third attack at Vauxhall a few miles west.

US Senator Marco Rubio prayed for the people of London who affected by attacks.
