As per the reports, the Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah chose Prem Kumar Dhumal as its chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming election of Himachal Pradesh assembly elections 2017. Prem Kumar Dhumal was the strong candidate according to the BJP as he was the two-time chief minister of Himachal Pradesh.
In 2012, Prem Kumar Dhumal preceded by Virbhadra Singh Congress leader. He was the 12th Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh. Currently, he is holding the designation as the Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly. Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh elections have roars up with dramatic twists.
