Hindi Diwas is an annual day that observed every year on 14th September. For the first time in 1949, the Hindi language announced as official language across India. The Constituent Assembly had accepted Hindi written Devanagari script as the official language of India along with British. Hindi Diwas is a day to mark the importance of widely spoken Hindi language of India. The celebration of Hindi Diwas was first begun in 1949 after hard work and great potential of protests to making Hindi the national language for all Indians. It also marked the 50th birthday of Beohar Rajendra Simha who plays a prominent role to highlight the importance of Hindi language and to make it the official language of the country.

Hindi Diwas celebration is mostly sponsored by the central government of India. People celebrate this day with pride and great enthusiasm, in various schools, institutions, offices, and firms celebrate this day by organizing competitions and function at their workplace and schools. The Indians enjoy this by participating in these competitions and sending Happy Diwas wishes and messages on the social media. So, on this auspicious day, several ministers, leaders, poets, and professors shower their wishes on their social media accounts. The Minister of finance and Corporate affairs Mr. Arun Jaitley showers their wishes to their Twitter followers, he wrote “आप सब को हिंदी दिवस की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं l”
