Last night saw the launch of a new restaurant/ lounge bar in Mumbai’s upscale Bandra with a ton of Bollywood celebrities in attendance ranging from Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor to Shah Rukh Khan. This two storey restaurant has been designed by none other than celebrity interior designer Gauri Khan. The amount of celebrities present at this restaurant launch made it the most happening event in Mumbai last night, with the shutterbugs going crazy.
Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan has always been a private person and doesn’t play to the gallery when it comes to the media. She strictly guards her space and inner circle of friends and is only caught by the paparazzi once in a blue moon. But things have changed over the last couple of years. A self admitted design enthusiast with a degree in history and art, Gauri Khan took to interior design and decoration once she felt her elder children Aryan and Suhana were old enough and were busy in their own lives. And there has been no looking back ever since, Gauri Khan has managed to carve a niche of her own and has designed spaces for celebrities like Ranbir Kapoor and Karan Johar.
