Blade Runner 2049 is an upcoming American science fiction drama which is directed by Denis Villeneuve. It is the sequel to blockbuster 1982 movie Blade Runner which features Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford. And it is scheduled to be released on 6th October 2017 in the United States in the format of 2D, 3D and IMAX. Although it has received good response from the critics as they praised the visuals, direction, cinematography, narrative, acting, music and sound design that makes it better than the original.

The Blade Runner 2049 director Denis Villeneuve said that the late rock star David Bowie could be the villain. As per the reports, Denis Villeneuve’s first choice was David Bowie as the villain for the Blade Runner 2049, but the singer was passed away on 10 January 2016 because of liver cancer. And then later director chose Jared Leto who is burning up the screen as uber-creepy villain Neander Wallace. It is based on thirty years after the events of the first Blade Runner movie.

This movie unearths the long-buried secret that has the potential to dive into the society’s chaos. The K’s discovery takes him to find Rick Deckard who is the former LAPD blade runner was missing from last 30 years. Overall, Blade Runner is back with another sharper sequel than before.
