The Staff Selection Commission(SSC) has released the recruitment notification to fill 57000 Constable (GD) jobs in ITBPF, BSF, CISF, CRPF and SSB organisations on its official website, ssc.nic.in. The last date to submit the application form is September 4. The Staff Selection Commission is said to release job notifications after four years. The last time it invited applicants for job was in 2013. The examinations will be conducted between January 30 to February 5, 2018.
The eligibility criteria for the examination and selection is that the candidates should be class 10 or SSC passed from a recognized Board and the minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years who wish to appear in the examination. There is relaxation for reserved category candidates.The applicants who wish to pass the criteria and the selection process need to first pass the Physical Standard Test(PST) and Physical Efficiency Test(PET). The candidates who will be successful will have to appear for the online written examination followed by the medical examination.
The salary for the candidates who will pass the examination and the selection process will be offered salary of Rs20200 with Rs 2000 grade pay. The complete process of recruitment is said to be completed in four stages which will include Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), computer based test and at the last the medical test.
