Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has declared its JEE advanced 2017 result today on the official website of IIT JEE Advanced i.e., jeeadv.ac.in. Sarvesh Mehtani from Chandigarh topped all India first rank whereas Akshat Chugh ranked at the second position. Jee Advanced examination is one of the toughest exams to get admissions in graduate level engineering courses in IIT’s and other central institutions.
IIT JEE Advanced 2017 examination was conducted on May 21. In which based on JEE main rankings up to 2.20 lakh top scorers have got the chance to appear for the JEE Advanced exam out of which 1.7 lakh candidates registered for the exam. This year around 10.20 lakh students had appeared for the JEE main test 2017.
Sarvesh Mehtani wrote the exam from IIT Roorkee zone and scored 339 marks out of 366 and topped the first rank all over India while he was ranked 55th in JEE main entrance exam. In JEE advanced test he got 120 marks in Maths, 104 in Physics and 115 marks in Chemistry.
And on the third position is Ananye Aggarwal from Delhi, he was also ranked third in JEE main this year.
The results of IIT JEE Advanced 2017 can be accessed from official website after filling up the required details like application number and date of birth of the candidates. IIT Madras has also released the all India ranks and category wise rank details on the official website.
The Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) is formerly known as the Indian Institutes of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) which conducts an annual engineering college entrance examination in India. It is used as sole admission test by the 23 Indian Institutes of Technology.
