Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe stated “Grave and real threat to Japan’s security. Condemns in the strongest terms” after Kim Jong-Un controlled North Korea conducted Intercontinental ballistic missile test on Friday which claims to cover most part of US territory.Surprisingly this latest missile test by North Korea comes a day before the U.S. prepares to conduct a new anti-missile defense system of its THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense).Pyongyang’s continuing development of nuclear weapons and intercontinental ballistic missiles enraged Washington, Tokio, and Seol about its aggressive nuclear defense policy.After Intercontinental ballistic missile test by North Korea, the neighboring and rival of Pyongyang South Korea decided to deploy more THAAD units.
However, China seems to be upset with Lockheed Martin-manufactured THAAD system and strongly urged the US and Republic of Korea (ROK) China’s concerns and stop the deployment of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system.China is more concerned about its security after the Republic of Korea decided to increase the THAAD it added that the deployment can damage the regional strategic balance and hurt the security interests of countries in the region, including China.
