North Korea on Wednesday implemented a plan to strike U.S military base at Guam Pacific island to create enveloping fire with the launch of its ballistic missile. The Guam is U.S. tiny Pacific island that woke up on Thursday with another pointed threat from Pyongyang who vowed and planned completely to attack waters near the island by mid-August. It has a complicated relationship with the U.S. mainland like other U.S territories. However, the threats and concerns that people faces are protected by the military especially in times of tense and geopolitical sparring.
The American military force is based on Guam consists of two bases Andersen Air Force Base in the north and the Naval Base in the south that is home to 7,000 U.S. troops. North Korea is working on a plan to fire four ballistic missiles into the Guam island that will be ready to present to a leader Kim Jong Un by mid-August according to the state media KCNA report. It is clarified the strategic force of KPA is seriously examining the plan for an enveloping strike at Guam through simultaneous fir of four Hwasong 12 intermediate range ballistic missiles.
