Smartphone maker, Xiaomi is all set to launch, it’s Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus on December 7. Xiaomi has already shared images of its new budget smartphone, through social media which shows it will launch with the options of four colors. The retailer AliExpress has already listed the smartphone on its website before its launch with the price. Ahead to the retailer’s official announcement, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 with 16GB storage is priced at $199.99 approximately Rs 13,000 and the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus with 32GB storage is priced at $249.99 approximately Rs 16,000.
Xiaomi is bringing with new Redmi 5, the Full view display design in the low budget smartphone segment. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 will have 5.7-inch display while Redmi 5 Plus will support a larger 5.9-inch display. However, both smartphone models with support the new taller 18:9 aspect ratio.
The Xiaomi device should be launch in three different storage options, which includes 2GB RAM variant with 16GB storage, 3GB RAM variant with 32GB storage and also with 4GB RAM variant supporting 64GB internal storage.
The both Xiaomi device, Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus will retain the overall design of present Redmi series with metal body and also have a fingerprint sensor. The seller’s connection with Xiaomi is not be verified and the smartphones are being sold by Xiaomi Online Store from tomorrow onwards.
