Volvo has finally all set to launch the much-awaited premium car XC60 in India today. The Volvo company has come over with brand new car XC60 in India that stands at price ₹ 55.90 lakh. According to the sources, the newly launched Volvo’s XC60 carries premium touch on exterior design and interior cossetting. The Volvo’s XC60 said to be the safest car. This year Volvo has brought up the safest car with a premium touch of the exterior design in India. The car looks more desirable with the same fascia including thor hammer headlights and 23 slats vertical chrome grille.
The Volvo’s side section gets the large and clean 19 inch alloys with the distinctive D pillar. Moreover, the look of XC60 is just perfect SUV but not larger than SUV. It is powered by 2.0 litre and D5 diesel unit which churn out 235 hp. The engine of the Volvo XC60 is mated to be eight-speed automatic gearbox along with the all-wheel drive as standard. However, as per the reports, the Volvo is expected to introduce T6 and T8 twin petrol-hybrid engine option for the newly launched XC60 SUV of this year. It is the second generation car of the Volvo that has showcased at the Geneva Auto.
The second generation Volvo SUV have built on the Scalable Product Architecture. And like all other Volvos, XC60 gets safety features which include steering assist functionality, blind spot detection, pilot assist, oncoming lane mitigation and the semi-autonomous driver assistance system. Volvo’s XC60 includes the four-corner air suspension along with the rich and elegant interior. As per the reports, in India, XC60 SUV gets 2.0-litre SUV diesel D5 engine that makes 233 bhp and 480 Nm. The newly launched Volvo XC60 will continue to stand in the queue of luxurious SUV’s Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X3, Jaguar F-Pace and Audi Q5.
