On Thursday, Tesla Inc unwraps its new Electric Big-Rig Truck and will start producing it in 2019, entering itself into a new market even after the company struggles to roll out an affordable sedan on which the company’s future depends. Company’s Chief Executive, Elon Musk said that it is an effort from the company to move the economy away from fossil fuels through projects like electric cars, solar roofs, and power storage. Musk didn’t unveil the price of the truck. The company has to convince the trucking and cargo community about the features, capacity compared to low coast diesel trucks. As these electric trucks have heavy batteries installed and will add up extra weights to the cargos.
