West Indies beat Ireland in the Plate Quarterfinal of ICC Under-19 World Cup 2018

West Indies beat Ireland in the Quarter-final of ICC Under-19 World Cup by 4-wickets and booked his ticket for the plate Semifinal.

Windiest batsman Nyeem Young played blasting innings of (54*) in just 32 balls and confirms the Super League Semi-Final for his team. He did a partnership of 51 runs with Cephas Cooper (29); partnership gave a tight support to win over Ireland.

Ireland won the toss and elected to bat first, there is only one change in the playing XI, opener Jamie Grassi and Mark Donegan give a solid start of 33 runs, Jamie was out at the score of 11 by Nyeem Young.

Ireland skipper Harry Tector scored 69 in just 76 balls, Ireland was troubling at the score of 76/4, and Batsman Neil rock (91) and Henry Tector (69) built a partnership of 116 runs in 138 balls. They end their innings with the score of 278/8 in 50 overs.

Windies opening pair also gave a solid start to their team, built a partnership of 75 runs,  Bhaskar  caught by Morgan at a score of (53).

Captain Stewert (50) and Kirsten (46) played massive innings of their career, at the score of 50 skipper Stewart run out by Aaron Cawley, while Kirsten caught by Max Neville.

And at last All-rounder Young hits (55) runs including 8 fours, and 1 six. Irish bowlers exceed the runs with an economy of more than 6, only Max Neville picks 2 wickets for their team, but he spent 53 runs in only 6 overs.

Till date only two teams are qualifies for the quarterfinal of ICC Under-19 World Cup 2018, India and Australia, both played well in their league matches, India will face Bangladesh in the quarterfinal of ICC Under-19 World Cup, on 26 January, while Australia is already in the Semifinal. They defend that total and go on to pick up a 31-run win in the Super League Quarterfinal of the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2018. Bowler Lloyd Pope destroyed the line-up of England with returning figures of 8 for 35.
