Rajnath Singh wishes Saurabh Chaudhary for winning gold in 10m Air Pistol

16-years-old Indian shooters Saurabh Chaudhary and Abhishek Verma win gold and bronze respectively in the 10m Air Pistol Men Finals. With this, India’s medal tally rises to 7. AT this time India has won 3 Gold, 2 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals in Asian Games 2018. The young talented guy Saurabh Chaudhary performed an Asian Games record score of 240.7 to clinch the gold medal in Men’s 10m Air Pistol final at the Asian Games 2018 on Tuesday. His fellow mate and Shooter Abhishek Verma won the bronze with a score of 219.3. Earlier, It was a brilliant performance by the 16-year old Chaudhary as he topped the qualification round with a score of 586. Shooter Abhishek Verma was also consistent in his shooting as he qualified in the sixth position with a score of 580.

This is the first and a total third gold medal on the third day in India’s bag. Besides this, another shooter Abhishek Verma got a bronze medal in this competition.

Shooter Abhishek Verma and Saurav Chaudhary maintain their second and third position respectively behind Japan’s Tomoyuki Matsuda. Meanwhile, Vladimir Issachenko of Kazakhstan was eliminated and so is Lee Daemyung of South Korea.
