Khelo India school Games 2018 Day 2, Golden Day for Karnataka, Score, Updates

On the second day of Khelo India School Games, Karnataka celebrates it’s a golden day for him, by winning 5 Gold-Medals in swimming. Karnataka won total 10 medals in Day-2, out of which seven were gold. They win gold in 100-m backstroke swimming (girls and boys), 400-m Freestyle swimming (girls and boys) and won one gold in girls category of 200-m Breaststroke swimming. The state has also won the gold medal in the category of–200m run, Athletics and 4X100 m Free Style Relay(Boys). From Maharashtra side, Wrestler- Nikhil Mavi won a gold medal in 42 Kg category of freestyle wrestling, while Haryana’s Amit got silver in this match.

Maharashtra and Tamilnadu are the two other states which are leading on the Points-Table by winning 8 and 7 medals on the second day of Khelo India School Games, Delhi. Tamilnadu won gold in Pole Vault, while Vikas Yadav won gold for Maharashtra in 700 Gms Javelin Throw. Hosting state Delhi has also won 6 medals including 0ne Gold, 4 silvers, and one Bronze on the second day of Khelo India School GamesKerala’s ANCY Sojan E won 2 medals(One Gold and one silver) in Long Jump and 2OOm run and Kerala also bring silver for their state. After the end of day Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Haryana are top-three teams of this tournament, while some teams are still looking to open their account.
