Indonesia Masters: Saina Nehwal loses to Tai Tzu Ying again

Saina Nehwal was defeated yet again by the by world no. one Tai Tzu Ying on Sunday, in the Indonesia Masters. This was her seventh consecutive loss the the world champion Ying. She was thrashed by Ying in 27 minutes only, and at the score of  9- 21 13-21. Saina Nehwal had come to the game after recovering from ankle injury. She has been lost to Ying on 9 occasions in the total ten of their matches together. 2011 was the only time that Saina Nehwal was able achieve success over her nemesis in sports. Still, Saina was able to get a silver medal, and even though it isn’t the highest award of the competition, it is still something that she and all other Indian citizens should be proud of.

Saina wrote on her twitter account, “Happy to b on the podium but have to learn from this match and b ready for the next tournament Thank u all for the wishes and support.” The social media site erupted in applause for her achievement anyway, with everyone commending her resilience to come after the injury and perform so well that she was able to achieve a silver medal in the competition. She also thanked her team and her coach on twitter, writing, Played finals after one year of gap at the hashtag Indonesia Masters super 500 Would like to thank Gopi Sir and the team for the support .. Need to work even harder.

Her achievements are another example of her strength, and her resilience in sports. And as she has promised herself, Saina is surely going to perform very well next time by training even harder for the competitions.
