India vs South Africa 6th ODI, last chance for bench strength

5 Matches of India-Africa series have been played and team India has won this series. India is leading by 4-1 in this series so far. By losing the last match by 73 runs, South Africa lost their all hopes, which was related to a  Series Tie-Breaker. Now the 6th ODI is a chance for Proteas to get their lost prestige and reputation. After the latest victory, India has climbed to the top of the ODI rankings. Now If India wins the 6th ODI, they will finish with 123 points. This match is also considering as a last chance for bench players; Dinesh Karthik, Axar Patel, Manish Pandey and Shardul Thakur.

Batting strength- Captain Virat Kohli is the Highest run scorer of this series while Shikhar Dhawan is second on this list. Proteas batsman Ab De Villiers, Aiden Makaram and Duminy is out of form, because of this South Africa is not able to play the full 50 Over. By hitting a century in the 5th ODI, Rohit Sharma has back in rhythm, which means India will not change the Top-3 Batsman for the Sixth ODI. Dhawan and Rohit will open the batting while Kohli will start at No 3. Between Manish Pandey, Shreyas Iyer and Dinesh Karthik– Manish Pandey have more chances to play the last One-Day match of this series.

Bowling strength Chahal and Kuldeep will be the first choice of Captain Kohli, so it means Axar Patel will have to wait a little longer. In pace bowling attack Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be rested, and Shardul Thakur might get a chance in this match. Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya will complete their ten over spell which means the fifth bowler may be Shami.

Probable XI– Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli (c), Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer/Kedar Jadhav, MS Dhoni (wk), Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah/Shardul Thakur
