India vs South Africa 3rd ODI: India one step away from a historic victory

After losing the Test series against Proteas, men in blue made a great comeback in One-day series by winning the first two ODI’s of this bilateral series. India is leading on this series by 2-0, and they are just one step away from winning their first ODI series in South Africa. India has never won a Bilateral Series in South Africa, although they were close in 2010-11, yet they failed to win that series and they end their tour with 3-2 in One-day Internationals. It was the first time when India gave a tough challenge to Proteas on their home ground, before this they have very poor records in South Africa’s pitches.

Now this time–fresh season is started and will grab the advantage of the absence of Ab-de-Villiers in first three One-Day’s and Skipper Faf-de-Plessis, who scored the fabulous hundred against India in the first One-Day. South African Batsman are struggling against the spinners. They are failed to read the wrist spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav in the second ODI, and which result was that–South Africa were bowled out in 118 runs.

India wins both matches comfortably, Run Machine-Kohli completed his 33rd ODI hundred and completed his 9000 INTL runs in the first ODI of this series which helps India to win this match by 6 wickets. On second ODI, Bowlers perform great and Proteas were bowled out on a poor score and Indian chased it with 9 wickets remaining. The Indian side is happy with his great performance in South Africa. This is their best performance in South Africa ever.

Records in Capetown

India’s winning record at Capetown is 50-50, Last time they met in January 2011, where Yusuf Pathan’s important 59 runs help India to win the match. India wins that match by 2 wickets remaining and designates their first win against South Africa in Capetown. Till now Team India has managed to win only one match out of three ODI’s in Capetown. The third ODI at Capetown will boost the team record as well as their first series victory in South Africa. After getting out of this series of Du Plessis, Inexperienced Aiden Makaram will lead South Africa in the 3rd ODI but it is too difficult for him to manage his team and register their first win in this series.
