After losing the Test series against Proteas, men in blue made a great comeback in One-day series by winning the first two ODI’s of this bilateral series. India is leading on this series by 2-0, and they are just one step away from winning their first ODI series in South Africa. India has never won a Bilateral Series in South Africa, although they were close in 2010-11, yet they failed to win that series and they end their tour with 3-2 in One-day Internationals. It was the first time when India gave a tough challenge to Proteas on their home ground, before this they have very poor records in South Africa’s pitches.

India wins that match by 2 wickets remaining and designates their first win against South Africa in Capetown. Till now Team India has managed to win only one match out of three ODI’s in Capetown. The third ODI at Capetown will boost the team record as well as their first series victory in South Africa. After getting out of this series of Du Plessis, Inexperienced Aiden Makaram will lead South Africa in the 3rd ODI but it is too difficult for him to manage his team and register their first win in this series.
