Six years ago India wins this title under the Captaincy of Unmukt Chand and India wins the title third time in under19 History. It has been almost six years since Indian team wins the final of the Under 19 World Cup. Both the captains have also the opportunity to become the most successful team in the history of the competition – with a fourth title victory. Shaw has already scored 232 runs in this tournament so far, while Shubham Gill is just 77 runs away from becoming the most run scorer in ICC Under-19 World Cup 2018.

India has unbeaten in this tournament so far, they start of this tournament– winning over Australia by 100 runs, then they easily chase against Papua New Guinea and Zimbabwe on their next two matches. In the quarterfinal, they hunt Bangladesh and in Semifinal–Pakistan fails to beat them. On the other side, Australia victory over Afganistan takes him closer to win this world cup.  Their victory against England in the quarter-final was quite surprising, where Pace-bowler Pope got 8 wickets and break England’s bone. Pope gets 8 wickets in that match and conceded 35 runs in his spell.

Bowling attack– India bowling attack is more impressive than Australian, Pace Bowler Nagarkoti, and Shivam Mavi curled all the batsman of this tournament with an economy of less than 6. Mavi has already taken 8 wickets, while Nagarkoti is picked 7 wickets in this tournament so far. Anukul Roy, leading the India spin attack–he is the leading bowler form Indian side, got 12 wickets in 5 matches. Australia is looking confident with his last win, which came against Afganistan in the Semifinal of ICC U19 World Cup 2018.
