Australian Open 2018: Edmund chase a bear hunt over Dimitrov, Confirms his semi-final

Yesterday being out of  Novak Djokovic from Australian Open 2018, now another turnaround happened today in this tournament. Kyle Edmund continues his incredible performance and Out Grigor Dimitrov from the Australian Open 2018 with a stunning 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 wins in the quarter-final. The world No 49 Edmund is now only the six British men, to reach the Semi-final of any major tournament in the Open era. He proved that he is also the biggest star of tennis at the main stage of Grand Slam.

Last year Australian Open, Edmund didn’t clear the second round of this tournament, but now he has exceeded all expectations. All were expecting him against Dimitrov as a huge underdog, but he performed great. No one would have thought that there would be a British player in the semi-finals of the Australian Open 2018 when Andy Murray out due to injury before the tournament, basically Edmund was reluctantly carrying the expectations of his nation in the absence of star player Andy Murray this year. Dimitrov is currently World No 3 in the World ATP singles, looked helpless in front of Edmund.

Edmund wins the first set with a score of 6-4; he takes three break points in this set. After the end of the second set, Dimitrov wins this set with the score of 6-3 and come back in the game. At the end of the third set, Edmund wins this set with a score of 6-3 and he was only one step away from playing his first Grand slam Semi-final.

At last, fourth set Edmund became the six british player to perform in the semi-final of Australian Open 2018, a 23-year-young player defeat the Ranked No-3 Dimitrov and become the first british player to reach the Australian Open semi-final, since 1977.
