In addition to COA members Rai and Diana Edulji, Chief Executive Officer Rahul Johari had also held a meeting on the new constitution on Monday as per the order of the Supreme Court in Delhi. After this, COA chief Vinod Rai had clarified on Monday that Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, and VVS Laxman will remain as a member of the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) till the new constitution of the BCCI is in place and the new elections will be held.
About the new CAC, Rai said, “At present, the existing CAC will remain intact. Our lawyer had sought clarification from the court and when he came to know about the combination of the current CAC, he approved to continue with Tendulkar, Ganguly, and Laxman till the election.
