Uttar Pradesh Civic Polls counting has started at 8 am; Result to be announced today

Finally, the countings of much-awaited civic polls of Uttar Pradesh has started now. As per the reports, the civic polls result will get announced by today’s evening. The Uttar Pradesh government have marked tight security arrangements across the state. In the wake of these civic polls, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath has asked to postpone the release date because of security measures as Padmavati movie has now become the sensational issue worldwide. The civic poll’s result would depict the performance of Uttar Pradesh Ministers and the incumbent BJP party.

This year elections of local civic body Uttar Pradesh held in three phases across the state where around 79,113 candidates stand for the 12,647 posts of sixteen municipal corporations, 438 towns and 198 municipalities. The state election commission had conducted votings in three phases across the 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh where it used EVMs for the votings of municipal corporations, for municipalities and town areas it used traditional ballot papers.

As per the reports, the state election commission has set up around 11,200 counting tables across the state out which six thousand tables would only get used for the countings of 16 corporations. The total voting percentage of all three-phases recorded 53 percent across the Uttar Pradesh state. Now, we have to watch that who will win in these local body civic polls.
