Assembly Election Results 2018 LIVE: Too early to comment, says Rajnath Singh as BJP trails in all states

Rajasthan Assembly Election Results 2018: The assembly election in Rajasthan was held on December 7 with a turn out of 73.85 per cent. All eyes are now set on the results which are scheduled to be declared on Tuesday. The electoral campaign saw stalwarts from both BJP and the Congress campaigning in the state with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress chief Rahul Gandhi addressing several rallies across the state. There are some VIP seats in the state too, whose results also everyone wants to know. Those seats include Jhalarapatan (Vasundhara Raje vs Manvendra Singh), Udaipur (Girija Vyas versus Gulabchand), Katariya, Tonk (Sachin Pilot vs. Younus Khan) etc.

11:00 AM IST- I am confident BJP will form the government.” says Thawar Chand Gehlot, Rajya Sabha MP from Madhya Pradesh and union minister of social justice and empowerment, outside Parliament on MP election results. Congress ahead in 113 seats and BJP in 98 seats, according to latest trends.

10:30 AM IST- While the Congress took a slight lead in Madhya Pradesh, the BJP is fighting back and the gap is reducing. Will they be able to retain the state? We will have to wait till about 12 pm for stable numbers. Remember, we are just two hours into counting and trends could well change.

8:30 AM IST- Congress is leading on 19 Seats, while BJP is leading on 9 seats.

You can check the results for the Rajasthan assembly election on the website of the Election Commission of India, eciresults.nic.in . The Commission will provide the option to check results under several categories – party-wise, constituency-wise and candidate wise.

The results for the state election will also be declared on the website of State Election Commission of Rajasthan at sec.rajasthan.gov.in.
