Meghalaya Election 2018, Will Rahul Gandhi win this Super-8 finale?

After declaration of Election Commission(EC) , Meghalaya Legislative Assembly election are going to held on 27 February 2018 to elect all 60 members of the Meghalaya. Dates are announced, and voting for 60 seats will starts on 27 February 2018. All the parties round-up for this election, Ruling party Indian National Congress who has been in power nearly 15 years in Meghalaya can be face some competitive issue against BJP and some other parties. After the poor performance of Party(Congress*) in Lok-sabha 2014, they has now ceased in only 5 states. Keeping in mind the upcoming elections, this year is being seen as a Super-8-Finale of Congress, because it will decide the future of Congress Party, Decide the future of Other state elections, and may be it can be career decider for Rahul Gandhi!!!

Currently Meghalaya Assembly has only 24 Congress MLAs, five MLAs of the ruling Congress, including former deputy chief minister Rowell Lyngdoh, resigned from the state assembly on 29 december, 2017. Three other MLA’s(one From TDP, Two from independent) tendered resignation from the House. So the current states is that, Congress is on (24), UDP on (7), HSPDP on (4), and Bjp has only (2) of this Assembly. So there are 9 seats which are still vacant at Assembly, and they are considering as a winner decider.

There are currently 17.68 lakh voters in the state, out of which 8.93 lakh voters are female. The election commission is setting up 3,082 polling booths in the state, out of which 60 booths with be pink booths – one in each constituency run completely by women, so definietly they will decided that, who will win 2018 Meghalaya Assembly Election. The regional parties can also deflects the performance of congress, by alliancing with BJP. Bhartiya Janta Party is the leading party of India, but they have bad record in Meghalaya, getting 2.67% votes in Meghalaya Election 2013. Election is also has seen important for 2019, when the Lok-Sabha election will held for making the new government. Last date of filling nominations is 7 February 2018, while voting will going on 27 February.
