Chattisgarh sex CD case: Raipur Court denies bail to journalist Vinod Verma

On Monday, the Chhattisgarh Raipur Court has denied the bail of the Journalist Vinod Verma in alleged sex CD case. According to reports earlier, Journalist Vinod Verma criticized the State minister Rajesh Munat and claimed him to be one of the person in sex scandalized CD. In his plea, Vinod Verma also said that he had proof of involvement of State minister Rajesh Munat in the sex case. After this, Vinod Verma,a Journalist, was arrested by the police from his home in Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh on October 27.

State minister Rajesh Munat had filed the defamation case against him along with the Chhattisgarh Congress President Bhupesh Baghel for allegedly misrepresenting his image. Raipur court denied the bail plea of Vinod Verma for allegedly defaming the Chattisgarh State minister by claiming that Rajesh Munat features in the sexual activities in the CD content. Now court has accused Vinod Verma of trying to extort money from Chhattisgarh minister.

This case was sent for the CBI investigation as per the Chattisgarh state government orders. Where Vinod Verma claimed that the Chhattisgarh government was framing him. However, the State minister Rajesh Munat has clarified that the claim made by journalist Vinod Verma and Congress Bhupesh Baghel was fake. And the police have sent the CD copy for forensic examination.
