VIP 2 starring Dhanush and Kajol will hit the theaters on upcoming Friday

VIP 2 is an upcoming Tamil film staring Dhanush and Kajol. It is a sequel of 2014 VIP directed by Velraj. VIP is a very sucessful and popular film which was waiting for a sequel though picking Kajol up to play the villain in a Tamil film is something of a surprise. Dhanush is back again playing Raghuvaran and he is an unemployed graduate again.

Minsara Kanavu is Kajol’s first Tamil film in 1997 and second is VIP 2. Kajol has mentioned time and again that to learn Tamil was very difficult and that is why it took her 20 years to sign this one.

Kajol Devgn is playing a menacing businesswoman driven by political agendas and lack of ethics. Film runs on the subject that Raghuvendra comes toe to toe with Vasundhara on her construction sight.

Unlike the first one VIP 2 is directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth (wife of Dhanush) and she has also done screenplay for the film. Story and Dialogues of the film are written by Dhanush himself managing to produce the film as well.

VIP 2 is being rigorously promoted through out the country. people are excited to see Dhanush and Kajol together. VIP 2 will release on 11th august 2017 with Hindi and Telugu dubbed version as well.

VIP 2 is one of the biggest film coming out of Tamil film industry. In Malaysia it has already beaten the record of Rajnikanth’s Kabali by getting the most screen count (550) for an Indian film in Malaysia ever.
