Jacqueline Fernandez celebrates her 32 birthday today as we take a look back to her success story
Jacqueline Fernandez who has been Ms. Sri Lanka at one point of time entered Hindi film industry in 2009 with Aladin. Alaldin was a mega budget film directed by Sujoy Gjosh staring Riteish Deshmukh and megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Aladin was not well received by the audience and flopped but Jacqueline had found a career in this industry despite of the issues like being able to speak Hindi.
Post Aladin it was a very bumpy ride till she found thriller classic Murder 2. Murder franchise was very popular with Hashmi being on the peak of hsi career. Murder 2 was a smash hit at the box office and from there Jacqueline started to get noticed by big film-makers.
After being involved with Nadiadwala productions, Jacqueline found herself doing the biggest film of 2014 : Kick. She was the solo heroine with megastar Salman Khan. Kick did wonders on box office and Fernandez became a household name and started making Television appearences as well.
Despite of the fact that Roy was not a success. Jacqueline got to star opposite Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal. Jacqueline was the only person who did not receive flacks when Roy flopped.
Failure of Roy was balanced out with 2 very big films of 2016 : Housefull 3 and Dishoom. Housefull is one of the most successful franchise in Hindi cinema and Jacqueline was a contribution to the big ensemble. Housefull 3 worked phenomenally at the box office.
Jacqueline’s success is not a regular story. in her career even now she gets flacks for not being able to like Alia Bhatt or Priyanka Chopra. She has practically made a career in films by being a stylish diva. Dishoom was a major success and still gets watched on Television.
As of today fans await the release of her upcoming thriller A Gentleman co staring Siddharth Malhotra. A gentleman is a Fox Star Studio film which could prove evry beneficial to her career. She has also acted in a British horror thriller Definition of Fear in 2015.
