Teej festival celebrates in India and Nepal in the month of Sawan. There are three types of Teej that are celebrated in India. Basically, monsoon festivals are primarily dedicated to the love of Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva. Teej welcomes the monsoon season and is especially celebrated by girls and women with prayer rituals, songs and dance. On this festivals married daughter receive clothes, bangles, bindi, and Mehandi etc in the form of gifts by their mother. In India, Haryali Teej is also known as Jhulan Ustav.
